When I was younger my little brother played roller hockey for inlines and I always wanted to play but I was never good on inlines. I always said if they had something for quad skates besides speed and figure skating (quad hockey was not offered anywhere local) I would join. I found derby when I was 18, I fell in love with the sport and the sisterhood I missed from playing sports in high school and I haven't looked back since.
